E.ON celebrates inclusivity with Pride partnership

E.ON reinforced its commitment to inclusivity by partnering with Birmingham Pride over the 22-24 May weekend, with colleagues taking part in celebrations to support the LGBTQ+ community. Earlier in the month, the company was named among the best large businesses to work by The Sunday Times alongside EDF and Octopus Energy.

AFBE-UK, University of Southampton to work on STEM inclusivity pathways

The University of Southampton has joined the Association for Black & Minority Ethnic Engineers (AFBE-UK) to create more inclusive pathways into engineering and STEM careers for students from underrepresented backgrounds.

New poll finds widespread opposition to EDI

Over a third (36%) of human resources decision-makers have faced opposition to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) measures in the past year according to a YouGov poll conducted for the charity Working Chance, which aims to provide opportunities for women with convictions.

Search underway for top talent shaping the future of energy

Nominations are open for the Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Awards 2026, kicking off the annual event that recognises the brightest emerging talent in the UK energy industry. Now in their 12th year, the YEP Awards celebrate the work of the diverse range of energy professionals with no more than 10 years’ experience who are already making their mark and driving the sector forward. It’s free to nominate either yourself or someone else by answering just four questions.

Call for inclusive leaders to get underway

Voice At The Table will soon kick off the 2026 Inclusion Leaders Awards, which will highlight how diversity and inclusion contribute to innovation, stakeholder and client understanding, employee engagement, and business growth. Nominations get underway on 1 July ahead of the finalists being announced in September.
