Industry updates 

WiN UK opens doors to military services

Women in Nuclear UK (WiN UK) has pledged to ensure fair treatment and meaningful support to those that have or continue to serve in the military by signing the Armed Forces Covenant. WiN UK has been awarded the Bronze Award under the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) after signing the covenant, which aims to bridge the gap between military service and civilian life.

EDI in Energy Conference – we want to hear from you!

With 2026 officially underway, so are plans for the next EDI in Energy Conference. The one-day, hybrid conference this summer will bring together leading professionals from across the energy industry to provide a platform in which everyone is welcome to share knowledge, experiences, and good practice to drive lasting change in the sector and beyond. 

We want to hear from you on what topics you would like to see covered. We are seeking ideas not focused on specific characteristics but that apply across EDI. Think data collection, hiring practices, engagement success stories.

AFBR-UK: Building a Nuclear Career with Amentum
